FIRST Academy is a pioneering initiative in Turkey dedicated to supporting the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) community.
Through our academy, we provided valuable resources, including our Solve FIRST podcast addressing key challenges, coding and design tutorials for tools like Fusion 360 and Mindstorms, reaching over 9K people. We also ran mentorship programs for FIRST teams globally, assisting teams such as 6228, 10064, 10043, 25155, 10236, 10141, 10532, 186, 681, 987, and 379, along with 20 additional teams online. To increase participation in FIRST, we organized MINI FRC competitions at our school, building a scaled-down Crescendo season field, leading to a 60% increase in applications to our team. Beyond our own efforts, we collaborated with teams worldwide, contributing to initiatives like Girls Connected by 6014, Project Pangea by 8153, and the podcasts of 2869 to maximize our collective impact.
